A bespoke timber entrance door combining traditional detailing with a rich burgundy finish. The design features two elongated raised panels with decorative mouldings, creating a simple but characterful appearance that complements the existing property.
A glazed transom above the door allows natural light into the entrance, while traditional brass ironmongery provides a warm contrast against the deep painted finish. The completed installation creates a distinctive entrance that feels sympathetic to the surrounding architecture while giving the property a fresh, refined finish.
Josh joined Blackfields Furniture in July 2026 and has a wealth of previous experience in carpentry and floor sanding. Josh is now learning what it takes to become a skilled cabinet maker and work towards producing some excellent projects alongside the Blackfields team.
Dan is a talented cabinet maker and joiner who started with Blackfields through a high school work experience program. Recognising his potential, the team offered him an apprenticeship at 16, and he has since grown into one of the company’s most skilled makers. Dan is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and enjoys running, music festivals, and socializing with friends. His journey is a true Blackfields success story.
