Reclaimed timber, exposed metalwork and integrated shelving work together to reinforce the gym’s distinctive identity, while ensuring every element is practical, hardwearing and built to withstand daily use.
This bespoke gym fit-out was designed to create an environment that feels as motivating as it is functional. Combining industrial-inspired detailing with warm timber finishes, the space balances durability and performance with a welcoming atmosphere for members from the moment they arrive.
Throughout the project, custom joinery was used to define key areas within the facility, including the reception desk, treatment rooms, storage solutions and feature wall installations.
The result is a cohesive, characterful space that supports both operational needs of the business and the experience of its members.
Josh joined Blackfields Furniture in July 2026 and has a wealth of previous experience in carpentry and floor sanding. Josh is now learning what it takes to become a skilled cabinet maker and work towards producing some excellent projects alongside the Blackfields team.
Dan is a talented cabinet maker and joiner who started with Blackfields through a high school work experience program. Recognising his potential, the team offered him an apprenticeship at 16, and he has since grown into one of the company’s most skilled makers. Dan is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and enjoys running, music festivals, and socializing with friends. His journey is a true Blackfields success story.
